Accountability

We take stewardship seriously.

Donors deserve confidence that their contributions are used well. Our practices reflect that responsibility.

  • Board oversight

    All funds are managed under the oversight of the Foundation's Board of Directors.

  • Approved expenditures

    Expenditures are approved in advance and documented.

  • Written agreements

    Local implementation is supported under written agreements.

  • Regular reporting

    Regular updates are shared with donors, including photos and milestones.

  • Director-funded oversight

    Directors personally cover the cost of inspection and oversight visits.

  • 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status

    The Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States (EIN 41-4675534). U.S. donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, and eligible Canadian donations receive charitable receipts.
