Donors deserve confidence that their contributions are used well. Our practices reflect that responsibility.

  • Board oversight

    All funds are managed under the oversight of the Foundation's Board of Directors.

  • Approved expenditures

    Expenditures are approved in advance and documented.

  • Written agreements

    Local implementation is supported under written agreements.

  • Regular reporting

    Regular updates are shared with donors, including photos and milestones.

  • Director-funded oversight

    Directors personally cover the cost of inspection and oversight visits.

  • Tax-receipted giving

    Eligible donations in Canada and the United States receive charitable receipts.
